Google tells me 6lb 12 oz is 6.75 pounds, just multiply 6.75 with $8.00 and you'll have the price per steak.

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well 12 oz = 3/4 or 0.75 of a lb so the cost = number of steaks x 6.75 x cost per lb

the answer was $486 dollars, it says he purchased 9 steaks.
