OpenStudy (marcon):

Jason is viewing slides showing various phases of mitosis. He determines the percentages of cells in each phase. Which of the following visuals would best display his findings? Venn Diagram Line chart Pie Chart Simple table

OpenStudy (marcon):

@amistre64 @SolomonZelman @dan815 @TheSmartOne @robtobey I'm not sure if it's a Pie Chart or a Simple Table

OpenStudy (marcon):

@StudyGurl14

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

I think a simple table would be the best.

OpenStudy (marcon):

Thanks, that's the answer I put, I just wasn't 100%

OpenStudy (matt101):

Not sure if it's too late, but I think a pie chart might work better for this question. You have a whole bunch of cells, and each cell can only be in 1 stage of mitosis (out of 5). You calculate the percentage of cells in each stage and display that in a pie chart. Your pie chart would provide a nice visualization that would most likely show that the vast majority of cells are in interphase, which wouldn't be as obvious from just looking at a chart.

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

Oh, good point @matt101 I didn't view it like that; I think I misinterpreted the question. @MarcoN I think matt is correct

OpenStudy (marcon):

Thanks @matt101 i'll put in Pie Chart as the answer
