A beauty salon wants to highlight the storefront window with pink neon lights that cost $28.50 pr linear foot. The window measures 9 feet across the top and 39 inches on each side. How much will it cost to frame the window with neon light if only the top and sides are framed? (round to the nearest cent)

Since the neon is sold by the foot, use feet as your unit. Calculate the perimeter, or the total distance around the window P=2w + 2l P=2(9) + 2(39/12) Calculate P and then compute the cost of the lights @$28.50 per ft.
