Please Help! Will Medal! Which is not a solution to the equation x-2y=10? A. (–6, –8) B. (–3, 4) C. (8, –1) D. (14, 2)

Nnesha (nnesha):

use order pair where first value is x and 2nd one is y replace x and y by (x,y) order pair if both sides r NOT equal then that order pair isn't a solution :-)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ohh, Ok, Thank you for explaining! :)

Nnesha (nnesha):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Would it be... A?

Nnesha (nnesha):

how ? show ur work plz :-)

Nnesha (nnesha):

remember the question is which one is \(\huge\color{red}{{\rm NOT}}\) a solution so both sides shouldn't equal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So then would it be D?

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

I shall reiterate nnesha for you, "show ur work plz". Side note: It's quite obvious you are guessing.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nnesha (nnesha):
