Well i think if animals start to camouflage they will start to dodged predators more often and the prey population will go up and the predators population will go down. For example, if a certain species of insect is preyed upon by birds, they will start to mutate over a period of generations and the bird population will go down if they don't find a different food source. For environmental pressures, a sudden climate change may greatly decrease a population of animals if they are not able to adapt fast enough or well enough. For example, if there are a bunch of sheep living in Alaska and suddenly theres a heatwave, they are going to have a hard time to survive with all the "fluff" on them if they don't somehow get rid of the fluff soon enough.

You are essentially stating that the mutations are a direct and controlled response to something. Can you mutate to avoid getting sun burns? No. Variation in the population must exist prior to selection forces to cause a shift in the distribution of the variation. Example: a moth species has two color types: mostly white with few black spots and mostly black with few white spots. If suddenly the background of whatever they land on changes from mostly white to mostly black, the white type will stand out like a sore thumb. Probably make it easy for predators to find it. Rewrite and tomorrow I'll take a look at it.
