Hmm, I have a con about that. Eagerness to become a mod is never a good idea. That just makes your chances of being a mod fall.

The main reason why I came up with this idea is because once you enter a post, you won't be able to see who's online. I mean like, what if you're trying to report a post or ask for help from a mod or an ambi and you can't see who's online. If that design was on both sides of the screen, users would know and it'd be pretty cool. And about the colors... I just went with whatever :P

The system does not properly list what mods are online. This is intentional. There are some old posts on this somewhere... So listing us is pointless.

To be able to test and evaluate some features they needed the system to think that some users were on. They made accounts that were "permanently" on in some respects. Later, this was changed to be all admin and mod accounts. So a mod can be reported as on that is not on.

There will always be rude little cholo's trying to bring your idea to a complete stop and make it sink .-. make the impossible is the only way to make it survive. I like it cause every time I have to tag a mod to a post or pm them I have to go to the main page to see who's online.

well, if we could modify a dashboard (dunno the proper term) so the we can customize our OS experience, that seems fine to me. But how efficient is the coding process. Personally, i dont really like all the pictures and automatic hover information. things are getting to crowded and forced in my mind. I think the code could be streamlined so that we could opt out of most of the fancier stuff and its sidereal functionality so that we could improve performance of the site. A customizable dashboard would allow us to turn on and off such features.
