Which paragraph exemplifies indirect characterization? paragraph 1 paragraph 2 paragraph 3 paragraph 4
what paragraphs?
Paragraph 1: Kate could not contain her anger. She was livid at Andy for letting their cat eat the pastry she had saved for a post-dinner treat. She furiously threw the empty paper plate out the window and turned to look threateningly at the furry four-legged creature. Paragraph 2: Beau could not find his favorite baseball cap. "I have to wear it today when we are playing the Raiders. It's my lucky cap!" After ransacking his closet, he stomped out of the room and started yelling at his brother, "Matt! Did you touch my baseball cap?" Paragraph 3: The river looked menacing. It did not deter Amanda though. She was confident of her swimming prowess. She had started early; she was barely three years old when her dad had started giving her swimming lessons. Now 18, she was in love with the waves and the currents. Paragraph 4: Jillian was fumbling with the new poem she had to memorize. She was great with pictures, but miserable with words and sentences. She could draw the most vivid picture of a garden in full bloom, but would struggle if she had to talk about it, or worse, write a few lines about it.
