Yeah I think so too. But idk. Because I remember him thinking about the Lord of the Flies saying i'm a part of you which meant that evil was a part of all mankind. So i'm thinking it could be d.

That makes sense. However, Simon is the one that realizes that evil is part of all mankind. Both answers make sense really :/
