Solve the equation. If necessary, round your answer to the nearest tenth. x2 = 256 A. 16 B. 128, –128 C. 128 D. 16, –16

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@baygurl269

OpenStudy (baygurl269):

x+16 Is this Algebra?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no i dont think so? @baygurl269

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Solve the equation. If necessary, round your answer to the nearest tenth. 4x2 = 121 A. 2.75, –2.75 B. 5.5, –5.5 C. 11, –11 D. 30.25, –30.25

OpenStudy (baygurl269):

oh what subject are you taking?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (baygurl269):

Do you have anymore questions? Im gonna have to log out soon

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Solve the equation. If necessary, round your answer to the nearest tenth. 4x2 = 121 A. 2.75, –2.75 B. 5.5, –5.5 C. 11, –11 D. 30.25, –30.25

OpenStudy (anonymous):

after that one i have 3 more if u could plz help me!!

OpenStudy (baygurl269):

is it 4 times 2 or 4 x squared

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its 4x squared like whatever that x is youll multliply times the 4 but dont worry about all that its 4x squared

Nnesha (nnesha):

2 ways to solve that question 1st) set that equal to zero and then apply difference of square method 2nd) or isolate x by applying simple algebra

OpenStudy (baygurl269):

\[x=11/2, -11/2\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmm someone else said it was b but ur sayiing c?

OpenStudy (baygurl269):

wat is B?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Solve the equation. If necessary, round your answer to the nearest tenth. 4x2 = 121 A. 2.75, –2.75 B. 5.5, –5.5 C. 11, –11 D. 30.25, –30.25

OpenStudy (anonymous):

see you said c i think and someone else is saying b which one is it???! :/

Nnesha (nnesha):

hmmm see you are not paying attention

OpenStudy (baygurl269):

lol 11/2 = 5.5 and -11/2 = -5.5 so yes it is B, No I don't think C because C is just 11

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh lol sorry :/

OpenStudy (baygurl269):

@Nnesha Can you help me with My Pre Calc?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes i understood lol

OpenStudy (baygurl269):

@CassandraMarquez you can use this Calculator to answer you questions, you just type in you question and it gives you the answer and an explanation, its mathway.com

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok tysm!

OpenStudy (baygurl269):

Your Welcome!

OpenStudy (baygurl269):

1. type x 2 type the squared sign which is ^ 3. then type 2 and press the down 4. then type = 150

OpenStudy (baygurl269):
