is there diference between local max and normal max
@powermacho
Let\[y=f(x)=x^3-6x^2+4\] Calculate \[\frac{dy}{dx}\] or \[f'(x)\] Put\[\frac{dy}{dx}=f'(x)=0\] Calculate the values of x for which the equation is satisfied and find the corresponding y values, these are your values of your points which are critical, the function will have a maxima or minima at these points
