which materials conduct heat well glass plastic metal wood

metals

because they have free electrons they absorbs heat energy get vibrated and transfer this energy to next atom

Conductors are where electrons can move easily, where insulators electrons are held tight. So you may think about it as something able to transmit heat or electricity. So as the above comment states, metals are conductors, but so is water, wet wood, moist air, carbon, it's something to think about.

Also an easy way to remember is to think about leaving it in the sun. "It" being the glass, metal, plastic, or wood that can conduct heat. Even though it means a more scientific heat, it goes to basics: metal will heat up a lot faster and easier than the others. (if the others even can heat up at all...) Hope this helps! :)
