3 equations, 3 unknowns. STEP #1: Take the first equation and rearrange to solve for the variable of your choice. STEP #2: Substitute that into the second equation for whatever you variable you chose. Simplify this new equation that now has only two variables and rearrange to solve for one of the remaining variables. STEP #3: Substitute THAT into the third equation for whatever variable you chose. Simplify this new equation that now has only one variable and rearrange to solve for it. STEP #4: Now that you know the value of that variable, plug it into your second equation (that only has two variables). Now you can solve for the second variable. STEP #5: Now that you know the values of two variables, plug both of them into any of your original equations containing 3 variables and solve for the third variable. Now you're done! STEP #6: Breathe.
