In general the work done is the force times the distance over which the force is applied. Since work is a form of energy though, in this situation, by conservation of energy, the work done must be equal to the final gravitational potential energy of the shed. You will get the same answer regardless of which method you use.

work=force * distance and direction of force=(280 N)(5 m) in joules
