OpenStudy (elise_a18):

I HAVE A MEDAL FOR YOU.........if you can help me. How do I find the degree of a polynomial?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is the highest power you see, if the polynomial has only one variable

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if it has more than one, it is the highest number you see when you add up the powers for each term for example \(x^2y^3\) would have degree \(2+3=5\)
