For this question I got C, Am I CORRECT>?
I can't read it. It's too small?
I used the positive +12 and did this to get my answer.... : 6+6=12 so we take that and: then you know its greater and not lesser
This is what i see
Even if I do that it's too blurry to read
hmm weird
shoud be copy/pasteable
I think Im wrong here anyway guys, I dont think I got my >< right
so did you ever get the system of equations?
yes I got C
It is too blurry to see
oh it is? what about for you jdoe
ok so... from what two equations did you get "C" anyway?
is it blurry for u too
I just need help with the < > part of the equations
hmm nope well, to be fair is too long you may want to resize the window or just copy/paste the text your screenshot has too much unnecessary blank but after resizing and scrolling, is readable, but one shouldn't have to do so, when is correctable by just cropping the picture and then posting
long as in the paragraph should be no more than 80characters long or so no 500characters
hmmm to clarify that I mean, each line in the paragraph otherwise, we're not reading a paragraph per se we're just reading a banner
but I can read it so... from what two functions did you get "C" again?
I srry but I dont no what you mean by what two functions did I get that from
hmmm actually that looks a bit worse =)
oh eheh
so that means you're just picking C then ?
no I could of picked any they are all the same. but whats the < > mean?
hmmm you're expected to write two functions thus a system of equations then solve for "y" the choices are just "guides" of what "y" might be but those are just the value for "y" from the equations from the material
so.... let's take a peek you work as a cashier, make $6 per hour how many hours would you like to work? let's call them "x" so you work "x" hours, you make 6x you work as a babysitter, make $6 hour also how many hours would you like to work? let's call them "y" so you work "y" hours, you make 6y you'd want to earn AT LEAST (\(\ge\) ) $60 so.... whatever 6x + 6y is, total wage per week should be AT LEAST 60 it could be more, it could be 60, but no less than that, more is ok
more is ok .. gotcha!
so..... you'd like to work no more than 12 hours per week less is ok, 12 is also ok, but more than 12 is no too good so, whatever hours "x" and "y" add up to should be 12 or less so... .what do you think the two equations are?
well I think that the first on is y</ =
</ would be more though wouldnt it
hmmm
hm huh
slurp of TEA
6x + 6y shold be 60 or more thus \(\large \bf 6x + 6y \ge 60\) x + y should be no more than 12, or 12, but not more thus \(\large \bf x+y\le 12\)
so... solve for "y" on eah case see what you get
ok one secondd plz
|dw:1429741673929:dw|
for the 1st one, yes
anyhow the 2nd one is simple enough thus \(\bf 6x+6y\ge 60\implies 6(x+y)\ge 60\implies x+y\ge\cfrac{\cancel{60}}{\cancel{6}} \\ \quad \\ x+y\ge 10\implies y\ge 10-x\implies {\color{brown}{ y\ge -x+10 }} \\ --------------------------\\ x+y\le 12\implies y\le 12-x\implies {\color{brown}{ y\le -x+12 }} \)
