Anyone know how to make links clickable on a pdf?
Where do you want to make the link clickable?
Depens on the application being used to make the PDF.
Its through a Google doc :/ every time i convert it into a PDFs it isn't clickable :/
In most applications you can select text, and one of the options will be to make that text into a link. But exactly where is burried in things. That allows the creation of links that should then export to the PDF. Also, the PDF readers have options to automatically make links out of things that look like a URL. This requires no work on the document creation side.
It doesnt let me turn it into a link though...
Did you click on the chains thing?
I was testing how to do the link into Google Docs, but I can only do it on Microsoft Word. Is Google Docs an important app you necessarily need to use or can you use any other application?
I need to use that lol all the work is on it T_T
I just did it. Will send you a vid of what I did.
okie :)
It is exporting the AVI right now... will take a min cause I zoomed in to make it more clear. Then just need to upload to Youtube.
i found a website where you can convert word files or any other file to PDF... if its any use to you here you go https://www.freepdfconvert.com/ :P
I saw that before....My chromebook doesn't support word
oh. ok
you can install Ubuntu on your chromebook. (an operating system) so you can open 3rd party applications if you want
Okay, I may have something. Make a free Scribd account, and upload your PDF onto that website.
And there may be an option for a certain URL or other link and you could be able to link it to your Google Docs.
Right but it doesnt show that chain thingy for me see.... http://prntscr.com/6x1p0f
You are in a drawing, not text.
it doesnt let me edit without being in that though and i cant add that without it being a drawing :/
You should be able to make some of the text in the document part and only add the drawing for the art. Then you could make the link. OR, you could link the entire drawing inside the document.
Good idea :) ill try that thanks :)
