• Yes • Yes • It doesn't really affect me that much but I'm sure it affected a lot of people especially the innocent ones until now because of the religous stereotype that is caused by that sad event. • Gotten worse • Still very young. • Through media. There are plenty of news about that everywhere and it's not hard to get info about it. • All I know about Islam: their holy book is called the Qur'an , their God's name is Allah and the prophet is Muhammad( I think that Muslims believe that he was the last prophet-not sure). Oh and something about the Sunni and Shia but not too much. From my history and world religion class. • Yes, plenty! :D • Whenever I heard the word Islam in media, they are usually bad news--mostly about wars. The latest news I've heard is about the Sharia law. But for me, it really doesn't matter to me as long as I'm not affected. Besides, I have friends that are Muslims and they are nice.
thanks!!!! :----)
^_^ anytime!
\(\huge\color{blue}{I'm~so~lazy~gimme~a~sec~;)}\)
it's okay
|dw:1429754037223:dw| Just kidding, lol, I'll do it in a sec ;)
:P
That's a really ugly potato.
\(\bullet\) Yes \(\bullet\) Yes \(\bullet\) Hasn't really affected me at all. \(\bullet\) 2. Gotten worse \(\bullet\) It changed people's perspectives on it. And it can make them think about it negatively or positively. And they label one person's action as the whole religions way. \(\bullet\) Like 2 \(\bullet\) In History class when I was older \(\bullet\) I know quite a lot about it. The book is called Quran, the last prophet is Muhammad, etc. Because of friends, family, social studies class, personal interest, etc. \(\bullet\) Yes I do have many muslim friends :) \(\bullet\) Well I think positively about them, although the media protrays them negatively, like the ISIS or the Sharia Laws.
thanks :-)
I pm'ed you, I was the first to answer ^_^~

1. Yes 2. Yes 3. 9/11 didn't affect me much 4. I think has gotten better 5. I don't think Media affects Religion 6. 1 years old 7. I was too young to know about 9/11 :P 8. I know more or less about Islam. I learned from School/Geography. 9. I do not have Muslim friends 10. When I hear about Islam I think about Egypt, Iran, Nigeria, etc.
Hope its Helps :)
(In detail)8. I know that Al Qaeda is was founded by Osama Bin Laden (Who planned the terrorist attack on 9/11) that all I know :P
thanks!! :-)
No Problem :)
1. Yes 2. Yes 3. Hasn't not affected me 4. Gotten worse 5. Media mislead people very often on the topic of religion 6. I was about 13 7. read/heard about it on the media 8. I'm a Muslim, and Islam is a peaceful religion. 9. I have a lot of Muslim friends, but I have other friends that follow different faith or choose to follow what they think is right and we all respect each other. 10. The word Islam in its own has some answers to this. 11. When I hear the word Islam in the media I would think that they are blaming Islam again. Media has to distinguish between people's actions and the religion.
hope that helps :)
thanks!!!
my pleasure dear :)
:>
@dan815 answer the survey lol
I'm 64 years old and was one of the first raised in a audio-visual age. In the 50's you had shows like Leave it to Beaver and The Nelson's which had a core family of four. This prepared a generation for the over population consideration willing to limit there family size. In China they had no such influence and they had to pass laws to limit family size. In the 70's you had the comedy series All in the Family which placed bigotry into every home. I see how the same mean's are used with other cultural issues further creating a secular society.
oh dang this surver looks controversial
