OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is the lcd (lowest common denominator) for the following ration equation: solve 2/a + 2/y-4 = 1/5y-20 for y please and thank you very much! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you have two variables there, \(a\) and \(y\) what do you want to solve for?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im sorry, i accidentally mistyped the equation :/ solve 2/5 + 2/y-4 = 1/5y-20 for y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the least common denomianator is 5y-20 change all the denominators into that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wouldnt it be 5(y-4) because 5y-20 factors into that
