to turn a percent to a decimal, start at the percent and move 2 spaces to the left and put your decimal. So your decimal would be 1.53
now take your decimal and count the number value of the numbers on the left of the decimal....the 5 is in the 10ths place and the 3 is in the 100ths place....use the last number...so your fraction becomes 153/100
