@TheSmartOne

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

It does have a solution.

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

So what method do you like to use? Substitution, elimination, or graphing?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I like graphing but my test wants substitution

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Well if you want graphing, https://www.desmos.com/calculator/qgenu1b8kr And then you see where the two points intersect.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I see (10,30)

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Are you sure that it is 10? The 30 is correct.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

11?

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Look at the graph a little closer and see where it intersects. It gives you the point where they intersect if you click on it. You have half of it correct. ( __, 30)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

12,30

THANK YOU!!

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Do you want me to show you how you do it using substitution?
