The first amendment was an assurance of our right of any religion without being criticized,
 our freedom of speech is secure, the right for the press to keep us fully aware of our surroundings and it assured our right to petition is protected.

The second amendment assured us that we are allowed to bear arms for that we can protect ourselves and our property of harm.
