OpenStudy (freckles):

this is a calculator question

OpenStudy (howard-wolowitz):

Am I right?

OpenStudy (freckles):

round to the nearest tenths

OpenStudy (freckles):

in case you don't know where that is it is the digit to the right of the decimal

OpenStudy (freckles):

use the hundredths digit (the digit to the right of the tenths digit) to decide to leave the digit in the tenths the same or round up

sorry I had to clarify my answer: It will help if you have a graphing calculator for these problems. For the first three just put the equation into you calculator and find the value of y when x equals 3, -2, and 5/2. Or just put e^3, e^-2, e^(5/2) into your calculator and get the answers, even though it doesn't follow the directions. It should get you the same answer. For the next two, use the equation Pe^rt P is Principal, e is e, r is the rate and t is the time So for the first one, it will be 2000e^(3*.051) (it's .051 because 5.1% is the same as .051) The answer will be 2330.65 Hope this helps! If you need anymore math help tag me or msg me! Have a nice day :)

OpenStudy (howard-wolowitz):

dang, well I was close :(

OpenStudy (howard-wolowitz):

that cant be right dude... it wont let me enter the .65

OpenStudy (howard-wolowitz):

weird?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

one moment let me double check my work, k?

OpenStudy (howard-wolowitz):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

30.0 is my final answer, I rechecked it and was bad on math. But double checked and correct answer is 30.0. Sorry about that!

OpenStudy (howard-wolowitz):

mo worry dude, thanks for the help
