i think the first fraction simplifies to the same as the second (x-2/4x) and if so the answer would be 0 because both sides are the same, so anything minus itself =0

the denominator is same so they can be directly solved.

the numerator will be 5x-2-(x-2) 5x-2-x+2 4x
