Suppose you purchase a wireless keyboard that is regularly priced at $72.50. It is on sale for 20% off, and you have a coupon for 15% off the sale price of any item. What is the final price of the keyboard?

.....????
I was trying to figure out the question but @Blonde_Gangsta beat me to it
It doesn't matter which order you apply the discounts, so long as you apply them properly. To discount 20%, let us multiply by 0.8. $72.50 x 0.8 = $58.00 Now, discount a further 15%, let us multiply by 0.85 $58.00 x 0.85 = $49.30. So $49.30 is the final price. Notice that to apply discounts, we simply multiplied. And order does not matter with multiplication.
is @apple_pi going to say anything
so i got it right @apple_pi
THANK YOU @apple_pi & @Blonde_Gangsta
