Would you like to join the Qualified Helpers Program? 1. What is it? Users will be able to Ask a Qualified Helper to answer their question. They will pay OwlBucks for this. 2. How much will it cost? About $5. Users will buy OwlBucks through PayPal, and use them to pay for Ask a Qualified Helper. 3. How will it work? 1. As the user types a question, the "Ask a Qualified Helper" button comes up with a description of the program. When the user clicks the button: 2. If user does not have OwlBucks, they are asked to buy OwlBucks with PayPal or credit card. 3. A new flag and a special background appears on this question, which tells everyone that this user has asked for a QH. 4. A ping is sent to all the QHs in that subject who are online now with the url of the question, saying "Please go to this question to help the user." 5. After a QH performs an action in the question, the asker is prompted to rate the QH. 4. What are OwlBucks? OwlBucks can be purchased with PayPal or credit card. They can be used to purchase goods in Owlfred’s Emporium, including Ask a Qualified Helper, Tshirts, OpenStudy Transcripts, etc. 5. More Details (i) Rewards At launch, all Qualified Helpers in the Founding Group will receive 50% of the OwlBucks for each question they help in. This % share will be lower as we settle things. In the beginning, OwlBucks can only be used within the system. In the future, we will provide cash out or gift cards, etc. (ii) Selection and Training Moderators and SmartScore 80 and above can apply to be Qualified Helpers. Non-moderator Qualified Helpers must: a. Have at least one title b. No suspensions c. Send in a ID d. Sign a agreement e. Go through the selection and interview process f. Go through training g.
