I lost my part at the point prof introduced "script" in lecture2 ( core element of a program- 22:00-22:45). He was using IDLE open another page other than the IDLE. do I need to install script like I installed IDLE? please use simple language (I'm not a science student)

I answered where you asked in another question... in short, a script is a type of program intended to be run by an interpreter as apposed to other source files that are made to be compiled into executables.

No you don't just select: File >> New Window, and write your own script
