OpenStudy (theopenstudyowl):

Just work backwards from the formula.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

huh?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

umm does it show any heights or radius's?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no not at all thats why im confused

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeh im stuck

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4.The stadium is in need of a medical pool to attend to injured or sick whales. The pool will be located adjacent to the holding tanks. Your job is to design a medical pool using a 3-dimensional polyhedral shape you learned about in this module. For safety reasons, the tank can be no more than one-fourth the volume of a holding tank. You will need to submit a 2-dimensional drawing, the dimensions, the volume of your pool, and proof that the pool's volume is no more than one-fourth the volume of a holding tank to your instructor.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the volume of the holding tank is 84,780 so i divided that by 4 (one-fourth of the volume) and i got 21,195

OpenStudy (anonymous):

umm i would figure what equals 21,195 ( im really stuck on this ) so i was thinking 9 x 2355

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 9 would be the radius and 2355 would be the height ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats what i would be thinking but maybe idk really confused

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks anyways :) your help is appreciated

no problem
