OpenStudy (afrodiddle):

Given the function g(x) = -4x + 5, compare and contrast g(2) and g(-4). Choose the statement that is true concerning these two values. The value of g(2) is larger than the value of g(-4). The value of g(2) is smaller than the value of g(-4) The value of g(2) is the same as the value of g(-4). The values of g(2) and g(-4) cannot be compared.

OpenStudy (afrodiddle):

I believe it is B .

OpenStudy (afrodiddle):

for g(2) I got -3 and for g(-4) I got 21

OpenStudy (afrodiddle):

@EmmanuelRocksYou I dare you to solve these with decimals.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes it is b g(2)=-3 and g(-4)=21 nice job!

OpenStudy (afrodiddle):

Thanks :D @grex10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How inferior @afrodiddle this obviously cant be solved with decimals. Its fractions that can be. You are still wrong. I pitty you :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Great job @grex10

OpenStudy (afrodiddle):

@EmmanuelRocksYou Lol.. I was joking obviously.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Obviously :P what school do you go to?

OpenStudy (afrodiddle):

Flvs

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Dang alot of people on here go to Flvs, k12, or connexus

OpenStudy (afrodiddle):

Well, unlike public school, we don't get that much help from our instructors.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yea tell me about it, giving me a link to learn something doesnt help that much

OpenStudy (afrodiddle):

They pretty much just give us an online text book and tell us "do this" and then for the rest of the year we are alone doing work on a monitor.

OpenStudy (afrodiddle):

Which in my belief a lot more effective than public school, because we actually have to put in effort to get a good grade, and we have deadlines.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Its true, but in my school my teachers dont help, i ask for a little help with my grade they say go watch this video, so i do, BUT IT HAS NOTHING TO WITH WHAT IM ASKING! its annoying. I think it has its pros and cons

OpenStudy (afrodiddle):

I try not to mess up in the first place, that's why if I am unsure of my answer such as this on I double check it from other perspectives on this site.
