because if you take a cookie from a jar and eat it it affects the second probably of drawing another cookie. For example lets say you have 10 cookies and 4 are chocolate chip and 6 are peanut butter. The probablity of drawing a peanut butter first would be 4/10 but if you ate a chocolate chip first than the probablity would be changed to 4/9
