Help with this sentence please, it's for a poem. "This life is sanction" How can I make this sentence proper? It doesn't sound right.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Would, this life is sanctioned, work? or, this life a sanction.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In this case sanction means ok

OpenStudy (batman31):

it's a poem, while it's technically not grammatically correct, it does not make you sound stupid, and so if it fits best in the poem, use it.

If you add an "ed" to the end, it likely won't sound all that strange. It's just one extra syllable. Though, I guess it would depend on what you are trying to rhyme it with. :)
