I'll simply explain this for an outline. (This doesnt really belong in math, by the way.)
Water in a lake rises to the clouds from evaporation. the clouds eventually have too much water in them and release rain. This can fall into the ocean, and the process of evaporation is repeated until it is yet again in the clouds. the clouds have too much water, some of this rain falls into a river. this river drains into the ocean. some of this water evaporates into the clouds and falls in an icy region, becoming part of a glacier.
