It might help if you find an online course that teaches English, or perhaps a set of movies that teach English. Having a learning course that provides audio may also help you get used to the sound of English. If you have friends that can speak English, that might help as well. As israa88 said, though, you can start with simple and short books. I suggest that you start off lightly as well.

On OpenStudy I think that you can ask one question at a time per subject; if you want to ask another question on a subject, you'll have to close the other question. But yes, you can ask me questions, or I can ask you questions if you want me to. I'll do my best to help you whenever I am available. It's good that you're curious about learning English! It means that you want to work hard. :) I myself like to learn foreign languages. Again, I'll help you if you need my help. I may not be available all of the time, though, so make sure to ask around. There's a lot of people on OpenStudy and I'm sure that some of them may be able to help you as well. Maybe some of them will be able to provide you links to courses that teach English online. (Again, I'm sorry that I couldn't provide any courses.)

Okay, Rahammii, here's your first correction:

Person A (or else me, if you'd like to think of Person A as me), asked you "how" you were doing, not "what" you were doing. There is a difference between what someone is doing and how someone is doing. What someone is doing means the action they are currently in the middle of doing...such as drinking water, typing on a keyboard, or reading a book. How someone is doing is their state of condition...such as being healthy, being ill, or being sad.

Example of a "How are you doing" sentence:
Person A: How are you doing?
Person B: I'm not doing so well. I think I'm a little sick.

Example of a "What are you doing" sentence:
Person A: What are you doing?
Person B: I'm watching television.

As for me, what I am doing right now is replying to you. How I am doing, on the other hand, is that I am getting sleepy.

Hey @rahammii when i first came to america i didn't speak english at all but it took me about a year or so to learn the language. Idk to me i find english easy to learn .. But of course i wouldn't have made it without my teachers and the online website if u want i can always send u the links to them they are like small stories that u read and if u cant pronounce the word u can click on it and it will read it to u and then u have small questions to answers. You can also find movies with subtitles that will work 2 .. And i can always help u 2 :)
