Which equation was used by Albert Einstein to explain the photoelectric effect? [E = energy, h = Planck’s constant, and v = frequency.] E = h/v E = hv E = v/h E = h - v

OpenStudy (mayankdevnani):

what do you think ? @daedae730

OpenStudy (aaronq):

if you have nooo idea, try working with the units, which formula gives you energy units?

OpenStudy (mayankdevnani):

yup ! use DIMENSION ANALYSIS

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Hint: The unit of energy is \(\sf Joules\) The unit of Planks Constant is \(\sf\large m^2 \frac{kg}{s}\) The units of frequency is \(\sf Hertz\) which is also equal to \(\sf\large\frac{1}{s}\) Think of another way you can write the units of energy to find the correlation of it between Plank's consant and Frequency.
