I am leaving OS forever....... I wanted to inform everyone in advance so that I have a few days to talk to a few of my besties on this site

Or just go on Openstudy but use it as a outside tab therefore it is not that much of a hindrance and you can just ask questions. Also NEVER open the chat bars when yous till have homework because that's where the temptation starts. :)

I agree. This site is openStudy...it was meant for studying and getting mutual help. My grades have actually improved by being on OS because of all the wonderful volunteers that helped me understand my work, and I don't mind being online for hours. XD

Honestly, most of the users here are using OS to socialize.
At first, when we are new, our purpose of using the site is to get help with our studies, but once we get to know other users here and learn how to use the chat boxes, we actually get distracted and addicted to it. I've been there, so I usually went off for a long time before my exams. Right now, I learned how to control myself so yeah I can come here without worrying of getting distracted again (:

OpenStudy is great for a lot of people and it has helped me so much.
But now, it is nothing more than a distraction for me. And I am the one to blame. I just cannot control the times I am on this site. Besides, it takes a long time to get help so I would rather figure it out myself.
Again, FOR ME the positives of leaving OS are way more than the negatives of leaving OS
