A process that exchanges genetic information between chromosome pairs is Crossing over Translation Asexual reproduction Cloning
@sillynikki1 any ideas? Can you give a little description of these choices? Crossing over: Translation: Asexual reproduction: Cloning:
I just want to make sure if you're understanding at least one of the terms given to you, so it is easier for me to tutor you on what you not know :)
Asexual reproduction lacks the meiosis process, meaning two parents mating but only of a single parent. When reproduction is occurred by one parent (asexually), there's no genetic variation, exchanging or that of some sort. It lacks genetic diversity.
I know them all (Almost), just a brain fart :P Crossing Over: Literally what it says Translation: ? Asexual Reproduction: Reproduction requiring only one individual Cloning: Literally the name again (Sorry, mom called)
Individual cell* oops
Crossing over, yes, it's crossing over but of what? How does the lead to biology? Translation is the final process of DNA to protein, usually begins in mRNA template then to protein. It uses ribosomes to decode amino acid chains which is the process of making proteins. Can you give at least a description of what cloning is?
Cloning is a process used to create an exact copy of the original cell
Is it a process that exchanges genetic information between chromosome pairs?
No
So what is the answer?
Crossing Over

Thanks!
See how the red had one spot of dark red, and the dark red had one spot of red after crossing over? That indicates that genetic material has been exchanged.
No problem !
