What is the volume of the prism? cm3 Image of a triangular prism resting on a lateral side. The bases of the prism are right triangles. The base of each right triangle is 6 cm and the height is 12 cm. The height of the prism is 9 cm.

This is quite easy. say you have a rectangular prism of the same size, then two of these triangular prisms would fit into it, correct? So it is half of the base*width*height.

That is the area of a full rectangular prism, but the triangular prism is one half of that. so it would be 648/2.
