Identify the major civilizations in the Americas prior to European conquest and describe them and their achievements.

Here's what i got so far...

The major civilizations in the Americas prior to the European conquest were Norte Chico, Cahokia, Zapotec, Toltec, Olmec, Maya, Aztec, Purepecha, Chimor, Mixtec, Moche, Mississippian, Puebloan, Totonac, Teotihuacan, Huastec people, Tarascan, Izapa, Mazatec, Muiscas, and the Inca.

One major civilization in the Americas prior to the European conquest was the Inca’s. Their achievements are building aqueducts, pipes and channels, to carry water, (which helped them irrigate crops), they created an accurate calendar and many metal tools and implements.

Another major civilization was the Mayas. Their achievements were building a lot of pyramids and tall temples, making rubber, developed a writing system called codex, developed a mathematical system based on the number 20, and able to build a solar,and religious calendar.

The Aztecs achievements were inventing chewing gum, human sacrificing, discovered popcorn and chocolate, and invented mathematics in their own calendar.

Well the grammar is fine. So good job there. I would suggest using better adjectives, like instead of "a lot" say "many" etc. :) Other than that, great job! :)
