Pls help:) (1)Explain why the number of software engineers required for a project cannot be calculated as a simple division of the effort (in person months) by the normal duration (in calendar months). (2)Is it true that a software product can usually be developed faster by hiring a larger team of competent software engineers? Justify your answer
(2) Yes a product can be produced faster with a large amount of workers if they are coordinated in a fashion sustainable enough to let them have breaks get paid enough and the amount there working on. Although its harder to work with more people it is quicker then only having very small amount of workers.
(1) A project or program takes a lot of people to do coding, engineering, maintenance amongst other things takes a very long time for only one person to do. It cant be devised by how much a person works on it each day because the answers are inconclusive. This is why The amount of software engineers cannot be calculated.
P.S. I have no clue if I answered these with any clarity.
Thanks a lot for helpng me.:)
