hint: when you multiply same bases you should add their exponent \[\huge\rm x^m \times x^n = x^{m +n }\]
Another Hint: If they don't have the same bases, leave it like it is.
\[(5x ^{2}y)(3x ^{4})\] You multiply the coefficients 5 and 3 then multiply the variables. \[x ^{m} \times x ^{n} = x ^{m+n}\] \[x ^{2} \times x ^{4} = x ^{2+4}\] \[x ^{n} \times y ^{m} = x ^{n}y ^{m}\]
