u−4= Square Root of −3u+22 solve for u where u is a real number

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it 6?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First, You need to square both sides so you can easily solve it. \[(u-4)^{2}= (\sqrt{-3u+22})^{2}\] By squaring, the square root will be cancelled.

OpenStudy (16shuston):

I agree after you square it get the u's on both sides and factor them out so that the u is by it's self.
