I need help organizing my body paragraphs for my essay on civil war.

Im arguing that states rights were the main cause of the civil war. There are many events like the compromise of 1850 that made the southerners feel like they couldn't protect their interests in a union.

How can i organize a 3 body paragraph?

like in my introduction paragraph, i need to state what im going to talk about in these 3 body paragraphs. But i need to group my ideas together into an overall reason for each paragraph

Do you know of any ideas that go along with your thesis? It's hard to help without more information, but for the first paragraph you could say that "Acts passed within states at the time oppressed the voices of the South, causing them to feel powerless. This powerlessness caused unsettling tension between the North and South. [Insert example of the compromise here] The effect of this event was [something about how the act made the south feel insecure, so they started becoming aggressive]." Hope that helps a bit!
