My suggestion for finding answers online is to look at the source. I do not like to use Wikipedia but that doesn't mean there isn't good information. I also suggest looking on Facebook. I know this sounds silly especially because it's like a blog but a lot of actual scientists use Facebook. All you need to do is go to the search bar and type in specific words (just like on a search engine). Many profiles will pop up. Pick a profile that is owned by someone with a degree in that field or attends/teaches at a university. From there I message them and ask my question and ask if they can help. Note: it doesn't always work.
