I don't understand this question at all, wait, I don't understand Geometry in period. But this question trips me up a lot. Question: If Point S is reflected across the Y-Axis, what are the coordinates of it's reflection image? A) (2, -3) B) (-2, 3) C) (3, -2) D) (-3, 2)

OpenStudy (lexluth0r):

okay, so point S is at (3,2), and the rule for reflecting across the y-axis is (x,y)->(-x,y)

OpenStudy (lexluth0r):

So you change the x coordinate to be negative, which makes the point (-3,2)

OpenStudy (lexluth0r):

so there's your answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So you pretty much just flip it over? :O
