Well, culture is like the way of life for a group of people.  Think about how America's way of life differs from Africa's way of life.  We have different cultures.  That's also because of where we live.  But do you have any idea?

Well it obvious that the majority of todays civilizations are populated the most near bodies of water. So can we say this an effect of geography? I mean fertile soil and water produce everyday commonly used things.

Geography affects culture by isolating it or making it open to the world. Geographical land forms can obstruct paths and keep an areas culture untouched from other people and their cultures.
