WILL GIVE MEDAL Which transformations will produce similar, but not congruent, figures? Choose all answers that are correct. A. Trapezoid MNOP is dilated by a scale factor of 1/2 and then rotated 90° counterclockwise to form trapezoid MꞌꞌNꞌꞌOꞌꞌPꞌꞌ. B. Trapezoid MNOP is translated 7 units right and then dilated by a scale factor of 5 to form trapezoid MꞌꞌNꞌꞌOꞌꞌPꞌꞌ. C. Trapezoid MNOP is rotated 180° clockwise and then reflected across the y-axis to form trapezoid MꞌꞌNꞌꞌOꞌꞌPꞌꞌ. D. Trapezoid MNOP is dilated by a scale factor of 18 and then reflected across the x-axis to form trapezoid MꞌꞌNꞌꞌOꞌꞌPꞌꞌ.

Do you have any ideas? If not, I can explain

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no i dont have any ideas i suck at this stuff

OpenStudy (anonymous):

where did you go @JackofallTradez

OpenStudy (jackofalltradez):

Still here, I'm thinking. Dilating only makes the shape smaller, but doesn't change the actual shape

OpenStudy (jackofalltradez):

Moving a shape only changes it's location

OpenStudy (jackofalltradez):

A, B, and D are all correct, because they're all dilated
