I would say that it causes violence in young kids, since most video games are first person, the kids are the ones doing the virtual killing. This tends to breed aggression, since they are highly influenced by what they are exposed to. This also causes young kids to be less active nowadays, since they are occupied by these video games and other simulating technologies rather than playing outside.
