OpenStudy (16shuston):
solve for n on the first one, solve for x on the second one
OpenStudy (anonymous):
1.b
2.c
OpenStudy (16shuston):
1 is not right it is going to be + or -, 2 will be no solution over the real numbers
OpenStudy (anonymous):
ooh so one is no solution and number 2 is right number

1 is going to be + or - 7 because the square root of 49 is 7 and with a square root it also has to be plus or minus, and 2 is going to be no solution because 64 is negative. 3 is going to be postive 12 x because 12 is going to be the same length times width
OpenStudy (anonymous):
number 5 you have to replace x and with 9 and -9
OpenStudy (16shuston):
yeah
OpenStudy (anonymous):
oky thx ill try it
OpenStudy (16shuston):
yep no problem

so it will be like -9^2+9=103

@16shuston
OpenStudy (16shuston):
no don't replace z with 9 only x. you are solving for z
OpenStudy (anonymous):
oooh okay
OpenStudy (16shuston):
yeah. Did you figure it out?

OpenStudy (anonymous):
-22?
OpenStudy (16shuston):
