Romeo and Juliet!!!! Which of the following lines contains mostly loving diction? Marry, that 'marry' is the very theme I came to talk of. How stands your disposition to be married? I will frown as I pass by, and let them take it as they list. Nay, as they dare. I will bite my thumb at them; which is a disgrace to them, if they bear it. For saints have hands that pilgrims' hands do touch, And palm to palm is holy palmers' kiss.
What do you think?
I think it is the first one.
Sounds right to me.
might be d too tho
I'm not sure about this one though.
I believe D is the most "loving" while the others sound simply factual or conversational. The last one "For saints have hands that pilgrims' hands do touch, And palm to palm is holy palmers' kiss." sounds the most star-crossed to me, lol.
Thank you so much @IReallyCouldUseHelp . Thank you!
I hope I am right. :)
