2 5/6
@jim_thompson5910 @misty1212 @satellite73
Oh, ok can u explain?
add
then multiply by 4
If you want to use a calculator, then you can just use the fraction button. To do it mentally or on paper, find a common denominator. What is a common multiple of 4, 8, and 3? Well 4 goes into 8, so 8*3 will produce 24. 24 is a common denominator. Multiply 1/4 by 6 to get 6/24 Multiply 1/8 by 3 to get 3/24 Multiply 1/3 by 8 to get 8/24 Add these together to get 17/24. Multiply it by 4 to get 68/24 which is simplified to 17/6, which is the same as 2 5/6.

I'm right, trust me.
Want me to explain?
Yes u r right!
I know ;)
Ok...little cocky aren't we???
First what you need to do is find a common denominator. Which in this case is 24. Then convert all of them, and add them all together and multiply it by 4.
Nevermind don't listen to that. It made sense in my head, but not on paper
@horsegirl325 I'm just kidding around
