I need someone to explain this problem to me. http://gyazo.com/6ca7a04743e4afb5ed4aa434f90003b6
Is there something specific you dont understand
I had help with this problem a long time ago but I never really fully understood how the teach got the answers
Take your two points from column A and connect them. Move right from the first point and down from the second. What do you get?
Can you elaborate a little more
If you have this printed out then draw a horizontal line from point 2,3 across the whole paper. Now draw a vertical from your second point, 4,6 across the whole paper. Where do they intersect
(2,6)?
That is one, yes. But given your choices you need to stay on the right hand side of your line
I still dont understand. ill just forget about it
You have the concept. You know the X axis runs across and Y axis runs up and down, correct?
yes
Ok, from your first point. Draw a horizontal line on the Y axis at 3.
Not on, intercepting the Y axis. Sorry
ok
Now from your second point draw a vertical line that intercepts your x axis at 4
done
what are the coordinates where those lines intersect
(4,3)
Exactly. So find (4,3) in column b
Letter B is (4,3)
I get it now !
Good, simple once you know it.
Thank you!
No problem
